Online ticket sales, or eticketing, are a way for people to buy tickets for local events.

IRCTC has introduced e-ticketing facility to all Accredited agents of RSTA, TAAI, TAFI and IATA agents.

All such types of agents are required to take valid CLASS 3 digital signatures certificates so as to have an e-ticketing facility through Internet.

All the low-cost carriers have adopted 100 per cent e-ticketing.

Renuka Infocom Pvt. Ltd. (Sub CA) is legally authorized to issue valid digital signature to such members and agents.

As per new regulation some of the Public sector undertaking, Corporate Sector, Government organization, state governments and kiosk are also opting for e-ticketing facility.
